Honda Jazz dengan Mesin ala F1

Jakarta - Biasanya para modifikator hanya fokus terhadap eksterior, interior atau mengubah performa dengan sedikit mengutak-atik mesin. Namun sedikit sekali modifikator yang memperhatikan kondisi mesin sebenarnya setelah mengalami perubahan tersebut.

Berbeda dengan Teddy Jusman (36) yang sangat memperhatikan kekuatan mesin setelah mengalami perubahan berarti, namun tetap melihat kekuatan mesin dengan melihat data-data layaknya sebuah kendaraan F1 melalui iPad.

"Untuk saat ini saya mengusung tema Super Street Racing, sebuah kendaraan yang lebih memfokuskan modifikasi mesin gila-gilaan, sehingga bisa dipakai balapan dan bisa dipakai sehari-hari," ujar Teddy dari bengkel SS Performance Shop yang berlokasi di Jalan WR Supratman No. 40, Bandung.

Lelaki yang gemar mengubah performa mesin dengan meningkatkan performa ini mencoba memberikan sebuah inovasi baru dan jarang yang digunakan para modifikator lainnya membutuhkan waktu hingga 1 bulan untuk mengubah performa mesin.

"Saya mencoba memodifikasi yang tidak aneh-aneh, namun bagaimana saya membuat kendaraan itu menjadi race (memiliki performa tinggi), fun dan safety, namun tetap nyaman disaat mengendarainya," kata Teddy sambil tersenyum.

Meski lebih memfokuskan terhadap mesin lelaki bertubuh besar ini juga tidak melupakan untuk memperindah tampilan Hond Jazz lahiran 2009. Dengan pemilihan warna terang dengan airbrush pita bintang-bintang yang diandaikan seperti lomba lari dan menjadi juara pertama dengan melewati pita tersebut.

"Dan saya juga lebih menonjolkan sebuah inovasi dengan menaruh sistem baru yang belum banyak dipergunakan modifikator lain, dengan bisa melihat data-data kekuatan mesin yang masuk ke dalam iPad. Sehingga kita bisa mengetahui akselerasi mesin dengan menambahkan alat On Board Diagnosis II (OBD II),"tambahnya.
